William Craig has been teaching writing for more than 30 years, and teaching other subjects all along the way.

Currently a visiting professor of creative writing and college writing at Dartmouth College, he has been a full professor of humanities and history in the Community College System of New Hampshire. He is a manuscript workshop facilitator and one-on-one manuscript coach at the annual, invitation-only Stone House Writers’ Conference.

Craig delights in working with writers of all skill levels, from published novelists and historians to community college students struggling to master the research paper. He enjoyed working with reporters, feature writers and columnists in his years editing newspapers and magazines. Today, he continues to teach on a freelance basis as a manuscript consultant for both fiction and nonfiction writers. His latest independent teaching forum is the Elevated Prose Writing Workshop.
